Hello! I'm a former engineer who has now fully embraced being "the strategy guy", and this is my space to "think in public" and keep my ideas, notes, and whatever I'm currently learning. I'm someone who is fascinated by how energy, economics, technology, and people fit together. I've spent the last several years working in the thick of the global energy world, building cases for billion dollar programs while trying to figure out what a good life actually looks life.I enjoy helping shape the hard choices for companies or the people around me. When I'm not hunched over a deck or a spreadsheet, you'll find me planning the next trip with my wife, leading a book club, or tinkering with yet another new random project.
